T-ara (Korean: 티아라; pronounced /t:ara/)) is a Korean girl group from Seoul, South Korea formed by Mnet Media in 2009, the same company of groups SeeYa, and Davichi, Lee Hyori, and SG Wannabe. A five member group, two members left before the group's debut, being replaced by three others. Before their debut, there was a high level of interest in the group as they were called "Super Rookies".[1] T-ara debuted with the single "Lies" (Korean: "거짓말").

History
The original five T-ara members were trained for three years, and released their first song "A Good Person" for the Korean drama Cinderella Man OST. In early 2009, Jiyeon was in a collaboration with SeeYa and Davichi for a song called "Woman's Generation", which topped charts[citation needed].
In June 2009, Core Contents Media announced that Ji-ae and Ji-weon left due to differences in music style. Boram, Soyeon, and Q-ri were added. The group's agency began to released promotional pictures in July 2009, all different. Afterward, T-ara released their debut single "거짓말" ("Lies").

2009: Debut
T-ara made its debut on MBC's Radio Star talk show.[2] The music video was released that day. Their first performance was on Mnet's M! Countdown show, where they performed "Lies" and "Wanna Play". Their debut was looked upon negatively by netizens, who noted that it was lipsynched and commented that it seemed like an elementary school performance.[3] The group announced afterward that future performances would be live.[4]
A few members of T-ara (Eunjung, Soyeon, Hyomin and Jiyeon) was in a project group with Supernova, a six member male group. The digital single, "T.T.L (Time To Love)". The song topped various online charts. Later, T-ara and Supernova released TTL.Listen.2, which featured the members not included in T.T.L. T-ara in the red carpet with boy band Choshinsung, known as Supernova at the Dream Concert 2009 in Seoul.

 my comment: she's my fav^^before, she is the leader, but few changes were made and Boram is the new leader

Hyomin (효민)

• Position: Lead Vocalist, Rapper, Lead Dancer
o Starred in FT Island's music video for "Heaven"
o Cameo in SG Wannabe's music video for "Unforgettable Breakup"
o A member of G7(Girl 7) of KBS2TV's variety show Invincible Youth, which features some famous idol girl group members of the moment.

Soyeon (소연)

• Position: Main Vocalist
o Former SM Entertainment Trainee
o One of the 11 trainees who trained to be in Girls' Generation, however quit due to personal reason.

Jiyeon (지연)

o Starred in SG Wannabe's music videos for "Cry" and "My Baby"
o Cast in MBC's drama Soul as Yoon Doo Na as Hana's (Lim Joo-Eun) younger twin sister who has a slight limp. Shy and introvert, Doona always depends on her older sister with trust. After Doona becomes killed in a fire, her ghost possesses Hana, releasing her wrath.

P/S: both of them only be in t-ara for a few month (i guess)..I can't seem find anything about them..I don't know why they quit..
